MC - Kangaroo CareIf you ask most women how they feel in the weeks leading up to the birth of their child, you will probably receive a wide array of responses that range from excited to scared to anxious to overwhelmed with joy, and the list could go on and on. These emotions are normal. This is a wonderful and exciting time, and we want you and your support team to enjoy these moments. Those first few hours that you share with your baby will be the beginning of many memories that will last a lifetime. We aim to ease some of your anxiety, so you can enjoy those moments, by educating you on what you can expect during your hospital stay and once you and your little one go home. The best place for your baby to be is in your arms, skin-to-skin, close to your heart. These precious moments should be treasured, for this beginning of the bonding process is called the "Golden Hour."
